Gradually, strings and synths are added to the mix, leading to the full texture that compliments the East Londoner's soul-inflected voice. There is a subtle note of confession and innocence in his delivery, with the lyric "I feel calm" sounding less like an assured statement, and more like he’s trying to convince himself.
